Grace (Movement Therapist)

Grace was a movement therapist in the neurorehabilitation wing at WNPC Baltimore. Her work included adaptive tai chi, seated dance, yoga, and other movement sessions that gave patients room for expression alongside functional rehabilitation.

Practice at WNPC Baltimore

Grace led group movement sessions on the wing’s sprung hardwood floor. The room could open into a larger space for seated dance or adaptive tai chi, with equipment moved to the perimeter. She also used the central courtyard for outdoor sessions on grass. Her work was part of the wing’s broader approach to rehabilitation, in which a patient’s relationship to their body mattered alongside gait, strength, transfers, and other measurable goals.
